ARL 4460 Metals Analyzer was applied to the determination of trace five-harmful elements(Pb,Sn,As,Sb,Bi) in low alloy steel(petroleum pipe).The analytical conditions were optimized,and the effective factors and analytical results were discussed.The detection limit of the method was determined.This method is accurate,cheap,rapid and simple on operation.It has been used in the rapid analysis of steel making and steel pipe research with good results.
